Even if you are not an avid runner, you can visit 6 key attractions in Singapore by taking a leisure walk or jog along the Singapore River! Just remember to put on a pair of comfortable footwear and wear light clothing while exploring the sightseeing route which covers the following attractions:

1st Pitstop: Clarke Quay

This is the nearest checkpoint to Park Regis Singapore! Easily accessed via a pedestrian overhead bridge, the vibrant entertainment hub of Clarke Quay is right across the road from the hotel. Lined with hip restaurants and bars, the arena comes alive as soon as the sun begins to set! The Asian Civilisations Museum exhibits artistic heritage of Asia which presents historical connection between the cultures of Asia, especially ancestral cultures of Singaporeans. The museum is split into 2 main sections – the permanent gallery showcases paraphernalia of trade, religious exhibits, including fashion and texture displays. The special exhibitions bring about magnificent objects from around the world to exhibit in Singapore. Try to spot the statue of the Founder of Modern Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles!

3rd Pitstop: Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay

Within 600m apart is the famous Singapore icon which resembles the Southeast Asian king of fruit – Durian, the Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay. Being one of the busiest arts centres in the world, the Esplanade presents world-class performances from music, dance and theatrical plays, captivating more than 28m guests around the world over a span of 16 years. 4th Pitstop: Marina Bay Sands

Run along the floating platform, across the Helix bridge and you’ve arrived at the iconic Marina Bay Sands! Helmed as the centrepiece of the Marina Bay, the Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort which houses the ArtScience Museum as well as one of the two casinos in Singapore! On most nights at 8pm, a laser display will light up the sky literally and captivate
the hearts of many.

Well done thus far! This is also the halfway mark of your scenic run.

From the Marina Bay Sands, continue running towards the Marina Bay Financial District, along the banks of the Singapore River. This may be an arduous stretch but what’s motivating about the run here is the throng of people working out alongside you. So, chin up and keep moving along!

5th Pitstop: Merlion Park

The last checkpoint of the Marina Bay loop ends with the famous mascot of Singapore, the Merlion Park. Known for its mythical appearance of a lion’s head and the body of a fish, the Merlion is said to be an emblem of fengshui, spurting a constant flow of good fortune to the Central Business District of Singapore. Perhaps you can try to take quirky selfies here and reap some of the blessings too!

Cross the pedestrian traffic light across Fullerton Road to continue the last leg of journey back to the hotel, cutting across the popular nightlife district of Boat Quay!

6th / Last pitstop: Boat Quay
